What can I do to create a Japanese-style room?
I love to do a Japanese-style room! I want to create a zen place that's cozy, quiet and relaxing. im Trinidad to find some different ideas on how to create it. also, which could cost at all and if you have any advice on how I can get more for the money. some of which already have ideas include a yoga mat, a screen of rice paper, and some palm trees.
If you're trying to be Zen, the solution is very simple: just get rid of 80% of your stuff! Or at least find a good way to throw everything in the closet so they do not it cramps their style of living space. Zen is all about simplicity and balance. For example, if your room is actually a square base, try to keep your bed (or couch, or whatever the piece's largest and most important furniture in your room happens to be) perfectly centered against a wall. The yoga mat is technically India and the palms that kind of suggest that you're trying to go tropical – or Okinawa, maybe – but can still be seen working, provided they do not have a lot other things stuffed into the room. And I would advise placing potted palms square instead of the traditional rounded. To really achieve the style of circle track, buy some bonsai tree. They are only about $ 20 – $ 50 and live as long as, well, a tree, so good that you will be unwrapped making a wise investment. You also want to paint your walls a soft color such as light oil, coffee with milk or cream. Remember though, if you go too dark with any color, that will make your room look smaller than it really is. A simple wall hanging on a wall also totally blank focuses attention on an area where a truly "Zen way." Google the words "Japanese tapestry" and can find a lot of different styles, one of which is sure to be perfect for your new room. Good luck!
